How can you expect me to recall who I screwed over 20 years ago?
It was only yesterday I screwed some more and even they I don't know

In my hazy recollection I've done nothing wrong
One day this crazy press obsession is bound to move along

When you're as important as this guy, you might feel some empathy
The public's like bugs 'round a pig sty and FYI, that pig's not me

It is open to interpretation what is legal involving me
That is a determination often made once we agree on your fee

I've been to rehab five times over, that's commitment to be clean
Common people eat this stuff up from what I can glean

In my hazy recollection I've done nothing wrong
Each day this lazy guilt connection helps me to grow strong
